1) Tell me about Yourself!

Assalamualaikum, my name is Juliana Binti Ahmad. I’m 22 years old. I come from Teluk Intan, Perak. About my Family background, my father work as Engineering in PETRONAS and my mother just as housewife. I have 5 siblings including me (Two girls and 4 boys). I have studied in UNITEN, PAHANG by taking finance course for 4 years. Now, I’m fresh graduate student and still looking the job that suitable for me.  I have experience as Trainee when I’m doing internship program in TWM for 6 months. During 6 month in TWM, I learn on how to manage every payment, collect and record bills and invoice in log book, manage debit note and credit note, record transaction (cash in and cash out) in excel. I also help staff do some administrative work such as photocopy the document, binding the document, get signature that required, and so on.

2) What problems that you faced while having industrial training in previous company?

During my practical in (company name) for 6 month, I don’t have any complicated problem. At the beginning of work, I am wondering what task that will be given by my supervisor. But, my supervisor had provided some advice and guidance to me. Anyway, the staff under Finance department also have helped me if I don’t understand the task that given to me. So,I learn many things in that company. I must be detailed from the task given to me and be focused until the task is completed.

3)What make you decide to apply this position/this job?

I think this job is an appropriate job position for me. I find it attractive and interesting as well. I’m sure that my skills and talents will be conducive to this company’s success. I can also see a bright future of my career by joining this company.

 I feel that it's a wonderful opportunity for me to work here. I find this company is attractive and interesting as well. I impressed with this company because provides a lot of growth opportunities to their employees and always find a way to generate electricity for people in Malaysia.I think that your company will help me to enhance my knowledge, get more experience and develop my skill. I can also see a bright future of my career by joining this company.

5) Why are you the best person for this job?

I can't speak for the other candidates because I don't know their qualifications, but I can tell you this: I would never put myself in a position where I think I would fail. I know I can do this job and succeed. I am hardworking person, disciplined, committed to work, easy to give cooperation and helping individual who need help, trusty person. I'm a self motivated individual and willing to learn anything.I am willing to enhance my skills, using my talent and ability.I’ll do the best I can for this job if you hire me.

6) What is your strength and weakness point?

Strength

My strength is I am very hardworking person and committed with the job. For example, if there are task that need to be done, I will do the best I can so that the task is completed.

Weakness

I try to make things perfect but realize that's impossible, so I simply always try my best and that always works.

I would like to think that my greatest weakness is expecting too much from myself on every task I handle. I am learning how to sometimes relax and ask for help where and when I should from others.

7) What your favorite finance subject?

I prefer Islamic Capital Market as my favorite finance subject when I’m studying in UNI because Islamic capital market provides an alternative financial system with an emphasis on ethics to include transparency and fairness in all financial transactions.  I also learn that the transaction that involved Riba(Interest), Gambling to secure easy money and transaction that uncertainty, are prohibited by Shariah in islam.

8)Where would you be in five (5) years from now?

In next five years, I would like to see myself as becoming more skilled, more efficient, more professional, better person and achieve higher position with more accountability and more responsibility. So, I will try my best to perform well in your organization if you hire me.

     11)  How has your college experience prepared you for a business career?

I have prepared myself to transition into the the work force through real-world experience involving travel abroad, internship, and entrepreneurial opportunities. While interning with a private organization in Ecuador, I developed a 15-page marketing plan composed in Spanish that recommended more effective ways the company could promote its services. I also traveled abroad on two other occasions in which I researched the indigenous culture of the Mayan Indians in Todos Santos, Guatemala, and participate din a total language immersion program in Costa Rica. As you can see from my academic, extracurricular, and experiential background, I have unconditionally committed myself to success as a marketing professional..
